Information about Video Assets

Most videos in TAD™ are between 6-80 MB. There are some as large as 250 MB. Minimum bandwidth recommended is DSL/TI 1.5 Mbps connection¹.

Streaming video for previewing during peak Internet times might result in occasional buffering. Examples of typical buffering issues:

buttons will not be functional until a partial stream is established
video might pause until the stream bandwidth is re-established

Downloading video speeds vary based on connections and Internet traffic. Generally, downloading video is less impacted (from a user experience) during peak Internet usage than video streaming.

Important Note about Future Planned Upgrades

VisionPoint will eventually be incorporating functional and creative elements not supported by the Internet Explorer 6 browser. End of support for IE-6 will be December 31, 2011.

¹ Anything less than recommended bandwidth (e.g. ISDN 128 kbps) will make very slow streaming and downloading.
